Snacks will be available throughout the night.

Harvest Festival & The Melrose Mile
Harvest Festival Registration Form 2017

Every year on the last Saturday in September the Hoosic Valley Community Partners along with the Schaghticoke Entertainment Committee hold a Harvest Festival. We do this as a way of thanking the Hoosic Valley and surrounding communities for their support of the After Prom Party. Our local business are so generous when we ask, the Fest is an opportunity to show our appreciation. And the Fest gives everyone a chance to catch up with their neighbors and enjoy the day.

Harvest Fest: There will be farm stands with fall produce, pumpkins galore, apples, maple syrup, garlic, mums, Indian corn and more.  Along with our local farmers will be area crafters, local interest groups, activities for the kids and plenty to eat as you browse through the exhibits.   And if that’s not enough, a band will be performing at 1 and 3 from the gazebo.  Feel free to bring lawn chairs to relax and enjoy the show.  You can check out the festival in-between performances.

Melrose Mile Fun Run: Race registration begins at 11:00 (no fee) with the race starting at 12:00.  The race course consists of two laps around the perimeter of the town hall property.  Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers.  The race is open to the all ages, come on out and take a family run!

HARVEST FEST WILL BE HELD RAIN OR SHINE!

The 2015 Harvest Festival was bigger than every! Click here for photos from the event.

If you couldn't attend, make sure you put in on the calendar for next year. It's the last Saturday in September.

Radiant Peace Tree Lighting Memorial
Remembering those that can’t be with us this holiday season

Hoosic Valley Community Partners and the Schaghticoke Entertainment Committee are honored to be bring the Radiant Peace Project, a lit Christmas Tree memorial display to the Hoosic Valley Community. There will be a “field of trees” available on the lawn of the Schaghticoke Town Offices. Our wish is the radiance of these trees helps you find peace during the holidays.

Purchase a Christmas Tree and decorate it in memory of a loved one.  The cost of the tree is $50.00.  The fee covers the cost of the tree, materials for the sign, lead cords, replacements cords and adapters as needed etc. Participants will provide the LED lights and decorations.  Along with our sponsored trees will be a Community Tree on the gazebo. There will be ornaments available to decorate or you may bring your own.

All Trees will be lit simultaneously upon the conclusion of the 5:00 PM ceremony on Saturday November 28th at the Schaghticoke Town Hall.

Contact Sherry Malo, Radiant Peace Chairperson at 753-6061 for questions and  info.
