February Character Counts

February 12, 2018 - The Elementary School held their Character Counts assemblies on Friday. They focused on Friendship, and ways to be a good friend.  Our IMPACT Committee members did skits for the younger students, which modeled ways that kids can manage conflicts with friends, while remaining respectful.  We want our students to remember that good communication, especially taking a moment to clarify how you are feeling about something that has just happened, leads to better understanding of each other, preserves friendships, and makes our school a better place!

Along with the character education a MAJOR milestone for kindergartners was celebrated. They've been in school for 100 days! Great way to celebrate their accomplishments for the year and focus on a very big number to five year olds.
